Basal Norite cumulate of Banded Zone; oldest unit within Banded Zone, good field marker as all PGE mineralization is above this unit. Called PBC (plagioclase-bronzite cumulate) by mine geologists. Unit is just above Bronzitite Unit of the Ultramafic Zone.
