Garnetized Ordovician Longfellow limestone. Mixture of light gray-green garnet, pyroxene, chlorite, epidote, and pyrite. Also contains appreciable calcite, magnetite, chalcopyrite, and quartz. Copper averages 0.4%. Typical skarn associated with porphyry type deposit.
