Specimen Number4-8-041Alternate NumberSM-1CommentsOracle quartz monzonite (actually a porphyritic quartz monzonite). This Precambrian host unit consists of quartz + perthitic orthoclase, biotite, and hornblende. Collected 1600 ft. from ore zone, and is weakly propylitized with primary biotite replaced by chlorite, plagioclase dusted by clay minerals, and with sparse epidote on thin microfractures.
