Specimen Number5-3-001Alternate NumberSB-1CommentsSilver Bell quartz monzonite. Larimide age equigranular quartz monzonite, composed of quartz + perthitic orthoclase + plagioclase + biotite. Collected 3500 ft. from Oxide Pit orebody, fresh to weakly propylitized. Plagioclase is pale green, with sparse flecks of chlorite and montmorillonite. Biotite chloritized, with transported limonite, black Mn-oxides, and trace chrysocolla and copper oxides along fractures. Quartz and K-spar unaltered.
