Specimen Number5-3-007Alternate NumberSB-6CommentsQuartz monzonite porphyry. From west end of Oxide Pit. Pervasively sericitized, both feldspars altered to chalky white mixture of sericite + quartz. Veinlets contain quartz + pyrite + chalcopyrite, as well as secondary chalcocite after pyrite and chalcopyrite. The chalky white sericite may contain some supergene kaolinite.
