Mussels, clams, and most other forms of bivalves are well-represented in this global collection curated by Dr. Gene Keferl, an emeritus professor from College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, GA. His Ph.D. from Ohio State helps add a few unusual specimens and broader regional diversity to our collections. Gene is also a master birder, and greatly appreciated in our community.
Collection SummaryLike Darwin before him, Dr. Gene Keferl was an amazing personal and epistolary collector of bivalves from around the world.
